I have a problem with mz Xperia XZ1 and char code page. When I create folder and file with name that contain czech language chars and then zip these folders and files then open it on linux system like Ubuntu 18.04 the file and folder names are not correctly displayed.
I found out that android defaultly use "Windows 1250" code page. Then it is displayed correctly on windows but not on linux.
Please can you help me how can I set the android xperia XZ1 to UTF-8 code page that is universal and the folder and file names are displayed correctly on all devices (android, windows and linux)?
Also I do not understand why android what is linux based system, use Windows 1250 code page and nto the UTF-8 that is universal?
For zip files on android I use Total Commander application and their support say that it uses the default code page from nadroid system.
