Xperia XZ pictures, smart covers from IFA

Hi guys,

just back from IFA, I took some pictures for you guys

As you can see; XZ is a slightly bigger than Z5

Sony decided to switch from the very nice frosted back to metal Alkaleido. It has a nice shiny brushed metal effect. Just one down side, is that the phone is very slipery on flat surface (just like Z3). But in my hand, thanks to the new design, it feels confortable 😃

No more cool Xperia engraving

Finger print sensor, volume.shutter butons remain at the same place

The audio jack that is Hi Res Audio compatible (up to 24/196) is there, but the mic for noise reduction during calls moved again 

The bottom has the new USB-C connector. I don't know why but X series doesn't have lanyard hole anymore 😕

Now the new "3 sensors" configuration (23mpx + Laser AF + RGB )

Smart Cover Stand:

I'm glad, Sony went back to the original SCR10 design from the Xperia Z2 series. We can use the cover as a stand to watch videos 😃

Sony is going more subtle and don't put the logo on the front anymore but on the side

Style Cover Touch:

The plastic cuts are of a better quality than the cover touch of the Xperia X this time.

I wonder why it is bigger, for what the space was used, as we know not for battery or screen size comparing to Z5, hmm.
