Xperia X8 Problem

i had bought the xperia X8 2 months ago with 02. yesturday it just got switched off and its not getting on. when i was trying to switch it on, then its juz showing the sony ericssion screen and then getting switch off. So can you provide me any solution for this. :smileycry::smileysad: i had even tried to upgrade the software by conneting to my pc but its not even getting connected with my pc as well. let me know the solution for this issue as soon as possible. thanking you.

If the PC isn't recognising the phone either you could have a broken usb cable or usb socket.  Have you got another cable you could try?  If not then I think you will have to contact your retailer / carrier / SE service centre with a view to having the phone looked at by the professionals.

When updating your software please make sure you are using the Update Service at the link below as PC Companion will not detect your phone. The next step after that would be as Suze says

ive got almost same problem .. i tried to update to v2.1 ...  download complete but installation failed .. now, cant turn on, charge, connect usb .. does it mean that power down???  im from philippines and my SE X8 came from my husband from KSA ... i already called local CSR .. they said that it maybe power down, and if i bring my unit to them , they said that they're not responsible for anything it can cause (because my phone is international unit) .. why this happened ??  i do followed instruction on SE site .. does it means SE site is not a helpful and trustful site?????????????? i need an answer and actions please  ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Contact Sony Ericsson online, and tell them the issue. Also take it in to the service center, either the official Sony Store, or a licensed Sony Ericsson Reseller/Service Center, they should replace it if you have an international warranty, since you're basically covered the world ovair. They are responsible if they break it (Didn't really understand your reply there.)
