Xperia X10 Not sending e-mail...

my new xperia x10 is not sending e-mails from my private e-mail account?

have a business e-mail address. what settings do i need to be on for out going? it recieves but does not send!!!

have managed to sort hotmail send and recieve but not others. there is not error messeges but it does not send e-mails.

any ideas?

Where are you  located and who is your email provider?  Generally you can find the settings required on your email providers help pages for either pop3 or IMAP.  You will also need to ensure that your provider settings are enabled for pop3 or IMAP too.
