Xperia V shuts down itself

Hi,

It has been more than one week I bought and started using this xperia v. As soon as I bought, I updated the software to JB 4.1.2. Since then, I observe that my phonr often shuts down itself either when using it or the screen is off. One thing I noticed is that whenever it is shutting down, the phone is a bit warm. Sometimes, it gets hotter, but it does not power off. What is the problem with it? Any suggestions to such issue? Thanks.

I would rec. a clean firmware re-install....and go from there.  If the heat and shut-downs issues persist, I would make arrangements to have it looked at under warranty.  An excellent thread to read on these matters can be found here...

Please back up your phone before you perform any firmware installs.
