xperia play msg tones

i cant seem to get msg tones to work i can get ringtones and notification to work okay

am i doing something wrong or is the phone software not able to have incoming msg  tones

any help or information i would be very greatful thanks

To set a notification ringtone do the following,

Messaging > Menu Key > Settings > Make sure Notifications is ticked > Notification Ringtone > Add tone.

Let me know after going through this process if the notifications work.
