Xperia Arc Tile issue

Hello Everyone,

I received an Xperia Arc on upgrade from my network.

I downloaded a few apps and widgets and have been customising the various screens with differnet tiles/widgets.

Now when I try and place a single application tile on a blank screen it wont let the tile be placed on the location i choose, instead of being shaded green showing its alright to place the tile there i get a grey shadow.

Is there any advice you can give, the homescreen is empty yet i cant place apps/widgets on there.

This sounds like the Youtube widget problem. What I would advise doing is this:

Main Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Homescreen > Clear data.

Be aware this will set the homescreen back to its default appearance but should also resolve the problem.

I followed your instructions: Main Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Homescreen > Clear data.

Once i get to manage applications and select 'all'  the only applications there beginning with 'H' are as follows: HDMI, Home screen tips & HTML Viewer

I looked through the entire list of Applications and couldnt see anything called 'homescreen'...:smileycry:
