After updating the phone
never connect to the update service

currently operating system has collapsed

What can I do to connect to
please help

I would advice you to run the update service, if is up-to-date at the end it might give you an option to reinstall the software on the phone, do that and it should take care of your issue.

I'm sorry but let me try to clarify, do you mean that

You did the update? And After that you did a master reset? Or do you mean that the phone was not detected by the update service software?

If I get this correctly, phone's software is basically dead and the update service right now won't detect the phone anymore. If so i would suggest to try either on a different computer, if still doesn't work the only advice would be get in contact with your local Sony Ericsson service center for possible warranty/repair options.
