Will Xperia X10 get 2.2?

Alright, so i admit I just installed 2.1 and it's a pretty nice improvement over 1.6 -- BUT I have to ask, will Xperia X10 get Android 2.2?  Is there any "official" information anywhere regarding this?  I've fished around a little on the forums and haven't found much info regarding this.

I think the 1.6 that came with the phone is great. Also I heard that it's a big deal and the x10 will get updated/upgraded to 2.1. Also I heard that 2.1 is all there is and there ain't no more.

All "techno-gotta-have-it's" need to move on to different platforms to obtain more buggy operatiing systems beyond the 2.1, that's just what I heard and I read alot of this stuff in here...
