Whatsapp chat works well with WIFI but does not seem to work with 3G on and WIFI off . Any ideas

dunno about APN but gmail works fine.

am useing airtel as service provider.

While gmail opens in readable format, Airtellive cannot be read at all as the print is soooooo small. One has to use the + sign a few times to make the text readable

If you are able to browse internet, then there should not be any problem with the APN.

Not sure what really went wrong there, possibly re-installing whatapp and redo the settings (better and easier than doing a software repair)?

By the way, silly/dumb questions are sometimes the lead/answers for SOME (you will come to notice if you have stayed here long enough) :smileywink:.
