what can you say about this?
ill just wait for the software update. i dont want to ruin my $600 phone. hahaha
end of this month is only few sleeps away. hehe:smileydevil:
To be honest, rooted mine about a fortnight after I purchased it in June. Does no harm to the phone, can easily be undone and the improvements are vast i.e. runs much faster and smoother, no crashes and the ability to use many more market apps.
i see. what new features added when you rooted your device?
when the update is now available? can you still revert your rooted device to original one?
thanks man.
It does not add new features.
ok what can you get in that rooted device? nothing?
To my knowledge, you'll be able to control your folders, uninstall bloatwares, and control the CPU's speed to conserve battery power.
ah i see. thanks anyway.
you're most welcome.
You can edit wpa_supplicant.conf with root. So you can connect to the network eduroam.(WPA2-EAP enterprise)
2.1 will fix this(hopefully), but the biggest reason to root my phone.
Have not had any problems with the phone after the root. And it's a while ago.
