W705a problems, can't hear calls - have to use loud speaker

Hi everyone,

I've had my W705a for about a year and a half now, and the other day I went to ring someone and couldn't hear a thing. So I put the loud speaker on and then I could hear them. So now, every time I make or receive a call, I have to use the loud speaker because nothing comes out of the normal ear speaker, it's dead. Has anyone else had this problem?

I think my phone is out of warranty anyway, so I might just put up with it for another 6 months and get a new phone.

You can still try running the SE Update service on it and see whether that fixes the problem.

Okay, how do I do that Chris? Plug my phone into the computer?
