Very technical question about simlock unlock code

I guess, that only Sony tech team or someone who had same case can tell answer.

There is following screen after getting into Simlock service menu.

I would like to unlock my phone that is currently locked to "Orange".

If I pay to my operator for the unlock code, will it really work, even if I inserted wrong codes before (having simcard inside, from operator other than Orange, I was putting Simcard PIN code :smileysad:) few times...I do not remeber how many times, maybe 4 , maybe 5 times.

Sony Team...could you verify it, please?

you can contact yoru carrier or there are websites that can unlock your phone, once you unlock your phone you can insert SIM cards from other networks

i just bought j from orange uk and network unlock counter was already 0. did they trick me? (im a bit paranoid as the girl in the shop brought open box to me and i think she did reset the counter before so i couldnt use other simcard) as i know if the counter is on 0 then u cannot unlock with code.

hopfully there is a solution or i should take phone back.

ya i agree .. you can also purchase simlock unlock codes from any vendors online like Superunlockcodes.com Once unlocked you will notget this error
