USB cable not working.

Just got an Xperia Neo last week and the usb cable has stopped working. It was fiddly for a few days to get it to connect but now no matter how much i fuss around with the cord it doesn't work. I tried it in an x10 mini pro as well and it doesn't work either. Not happy that the cable has died with less than a week of use.

Does the mini pro's cable work in the Neo, just trying to narrow down if it definately the cable and not the USB socket.

The cable is exactly the same as the mini pro one and I am currently using the cable for the mini pro to charge the neo. I have charged my mini pro with cables from other android devices and the neo is currently charging with the mini pro cable so I know it is the cable I received with the neo that is faulty.

Also I just had an idea, since the phone came from Hong Kong maybe using the Hong Kong USB cable in with the Australian wall charger has damaged it? I didn't think this would be an issue but maybe it is.

I have also checked the connector pins and nothing seems to be broken.
