Unable to use XP on USB debugging mode!

hey .wel i have encountered a problem....when ever i connect my phone with pc..the flashtool says device connetced with debugging mode OFF..take a look at the screen shot of my phone !..what should i do now..i want to root my phone and m stuck at this!! :@ even with binry 4 its not picking up the device!!

yea i get the same device in my device manger when only i turn on the USB thethering(SETTINGS>WIRELSS AND NETWORKS>MORE>THTHERING & PORTABLE HOTSPOT>USB THETHRING) then this device appears in my device manger...I have my USB debugging mode ON.

No no no... Something's wrong here. Shutdown your Device and Restart it.

First of all, what are you trying to do with your Phone? Root it? Flash it?

the flash tool doesnt recognize my device connected in  Debugging mode...even though i tried a software repair using sus.still nto working....i want to root my phone but coudnt get my phone in debugging mode!!  when i turn on usb therthing mode den!!!

see when i turned on usb thethering it got connected in usb debuggign mode! :X

Weird... Okay, try this.

Connect the Phone without USB Debugging and Tethering. Just connect it and let it say only "Internal Storage Connected".

Head to Device manager and carefully look for another device when you turn on the USB Debugging.

Don't turn on the USB Tethering. Let it as it is with the USB Debugging. If it doesn't show up then on the Device Manager click on your Computer name above all the devices, right click and pick the first option (Scan for Hardware Changes i think).

Does the Device pop up? If not then definitelly there's something wrong here.

Also you cannot root the device with the .54 kernel. You have to flash an older (.544 or .559)

i tried this..nothing poped out...yea i knw the procedure to root..i also followd this link..the problem is that after flashing with .559 kernel and continuing with the procedure of rooting. at a point after restoring the rootme. file from backup n restore app the flashtool rebooted my device (as in one of the steps during rooting ) when the fone rebooted the usb thethring got off n the root procedure got distratcred as fone was no more avialble in debugging mode....the screen got black due to .559 kernel and i cudnt reach the usb thethring option as the screen almost got blind..this is the step where i got stucked for ever!! after than i took my phone off the cable..reflash the .54 kernel and screen is all good now....but yea remain *UNROOTed* as the process cudnt complete after the rebooting..

i still dont have the .75 update available at my region on SUS and PCC..(Pakistan) i have the tft file avialble ..i can flash it but i m worried what would be the effetc of that on PCC n SUS as they dont have this firmware avaible yet..:S

I have flashed the .75 on my Phone via Flashtool. No effects. Works like it should.

About the USB Debugging, can you test on another computer with the flashtool drivers installed?

ahan...well i heard a newfirm got certified the .89 so it just keeps on going  ..are there any major changes in the .75 version ?? pros/cons?? I dun hvae nay bugs except for the camera  in my .54 build ..so dun want to take risk n give rise to new bugs! most probably gona wait for the JB update

yea ill try it on a friends pc...there migh be a problem with my pc..

:smileyplus: Phone feels smoother, just like the .544, my Phone was laggy with the .54

More bugs with other resolutions too about the camera.

Fixed it with this.

No other fixes/issues with my Phone. Been working great after all this time. Some say that the notification problem has been fixed. Never had the problem.

my phone is not laggy on .54 :smileygrin: and it works perfect in 6mp mode..i like the 16:9 ratio of 6mp

8mp is buggy..

yea and the fix for camera requires root..thats one of the reason i wanted to root .which I m stuck on due to debugging problem

and i fixed the notification problem by just keeping the default notification SILENT..n set all the notification sounds for each app separetly..i.e for sms,facebook,watspp,email individuallly.
