Unable to use XP on USB debugging mode!

hey .wel i have encountered a problem....when ever i connect my phone with pc..the flashtool says device connetced with debugging mode OFF..take a look at the screen shot of my phone !..what should i do now..i want to root my phone and m stuck at this!! :@ even with binry 4 its not picking up the device!!

i tried a software repair with SUS>.did a factory reset still my fone does not get connected in usb debugging mode unless I turn on usb thethering :S!!

Just make sure that u have all the possible correct drivers. this seems to be a driver issue. try this switch off ur phone, plug the chord to the pc then plug the chord to the phone while pressing the volume down button(Flash mode) ,i guess it runs a check whether all the appropriate drivers are present. Do this and leme know.

i just tried this and well no driver problem ..:/ anyway to reinstall all drivers ?

Make sure you install all the drivers there are available for Flashtool under C:\Flashtool\drivers .
There's a file called "Flashtool-drivers". Install it.

i did that..still not working until i turn on usb therthering :X

You mean USB Debugging right?

Anyway, on Device Manager on your Windows Computer, is there a Device called "Sony Ericsson sa0104 ADB Interface Driver"?

Your Phone must be connected via USB and with USB Debugging turned on.

Edit: Devices called "Android ADB Interface" or "Android Original ADB Interface".

on the status bar i saw USB Debugging connected on my phone...but when i open flash tool it says Device connected with Debugging mode OFF...when i turn on USB thethering then it says..device connected with debugging mode on! ..and i know i cant find any device "Sony Ericsson sa0104 ADB Interface Driver" in my device manger..Can u upload a pic of ur device manger showing such a driver ??

yea i saw the device named "Sony Ericsson sa0104 ADB Interface Driver" in my device manger when i turned on USB thethering :S why do i have to turn it on inorder to get my cell fone in  debugging mode :X

The driver is just like that?

What tethering? You only need to turn on the USB Debugging from the Developer Options like here.
