Unable to make Conference calls

I am unable to make conference call from my Xperia Neo V from India. Presently I am using ICS 4.

Please help me.

I am using BSNL Postpaid 3G, I have to check with my network operator....Thank you for your quick reply.

Please do let us know what they say as Uliwooly is correct. Most networks do need to enable this on their end before you can make use of this function.

I am facing similar problem. I am using Reliance network. I have checked with reliance. Form their end everything is ok. but till now, I am not able to put any call in hold and making any conference call. Getting message "Switching cannot be done". This is happening after Upgrade my phone to ICS.
