What speakers have you connected the phone to? Did you connect via bluetooth or cable? What kind of cable?

Alright. And just to make clear, this happens all the time now, even when you disconnect the cable to your computer?
If that's the case, it might be something defective with the 3,5mm connector. To solve this you need to send in the phone to a service center for repair.

yes I found.
first I tried "factory data reset" but it didn't benefit.
then I connect my phone by USB cable and updated it on line at this link:
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-p/
(you have to choice your phone update (sony p, sony s...)
then the problem was solved
note: I don't know if it is necessary to do "factory data reset" first, you can try the update first.
please if this solution help you too tell me

excuse me this is all what I did with my phone.
are you sure that you did the two steps:
1- "factory data reset"
2- updated the phone online at : http://www.sonymobile.com

U r excused..
Yes, I did what u exactly told me to do. I did tried both the ways.
First way:
1 Factory Reset Settings.
2. updated online thru the link tht u gave me.
Second way:
1. Directly updated it online, since the first method failed..
