T707 software problems

I'm using a T707, bought it around a year ago.

First, it is OK. But after a few months its software corrupted. I took it to Sony ericsson centre and got it repaired.

But after a few months, it happen again. Then again and again. I just got it sent to Sony Centre for a repair two weeks ago and now it happens again.

I'm getting tired of this, and it costs me a lot as I'm still a student. Help?

Have you tried updating or re-installing the software with the SE update service or phone repair via PC suite yourself?

Yes, I've tried. But because I just got it repaired two weeks ago. It's stated there my software is the latest. So no update needed.

PC suite shows that phone repair failed. Any idea how? I'm so tired of paying for the bills of getting it to Sony Centre.

You can still try re-installing the software with the SE update service via PC, or a master reset.

there's like only one path going when I started the update service.

The "install" option at the bottom right of the update application page actually means to re-install the software.
