okay so i saw my friend with a droid. And she had the swype keyboard. do you need firmware 2.1 to have that or is there an app to where i can get the swype keyboard.
I'm pretty sure Swype is still in a limited beta. I picked up SlideIT off the Android market -- love it -- and there is a demo, too. I've heard a lot of people actually prefer SlideIT anyways.
I might give that one a try. I had swype for a while, but it was very erratic at times . Wonder what other keyboards people install..I have heard the HTC IME is also very popular and Shapewriter :smileyblush:
I use Any soft keyboard, Swype, HTC IME, & they are all good in their way. While writing in full english, nothing can beat Swype. But Anysoft &, better still HTC IME are very easy and user friendly.
Thanks for the info..will try all of them out lol..depending on what's in the market :smileyblush: I did love Swype when it was going ok..i was advised to get the latest apk. for it..will look around on some forums x
