Is it the whole phone or just the keyboard?
If its the keyboard, then go to either text or messaging and in the text input box long press and select Input Method from the subsequent menu, then select either Android or Default and you will be back to an english qwerty keyboard.
If its the whole phone, you need to state whether you are on 1.6 or 2.1 as the menu's have changed very slightly.
