Strange issue with xperia U ST25i on BSNL 3g network

hi

I have 3 APN given by my network provider, bsnllive, bsnlnet and bsnlstream

initially i was able to connect with bsnlnet APN but now it stoped working , also using bsnllive APN i am able to browse and connect to net using apps, but i am not able to get notifications from apps like whatsapp or facebook.

Do anyone have an idea what the problem is ?

Have you tried to delete these APN's and add them again? Have you been in touch with your operator to check for any disturbances?

Doesnt look like an issue with mobile operator. I have tryed the same SIM on other andriod devices and found working fine.

I have done almost everything including factory reset to get this working, but all in vein.

even i am having the same problem with my xperia sp. whatsapp doesnt work on BSNL mobile network. but as soon as we switch to WIFI, it starts working fine. i have tried this sim in other phones. no issues with the net there. please solve the issue. i cant rely on wifi everytime. i have searched google for the same problem. many xperia users using BSNL have the same problem. help please.
