Sony Xperia mini pro wont turn on or connect to pc companion

My Xperia mini pro wont turn on. I tried to repair it but it wont connect to pc companion either...its been over a week. Please help

Charge your phone 1 hour and then try to repair using Sony Update Service.

hi,

i did as u mentioned  and it worked...but the thing is the phone turns on, connects to pc companion but the display doesnt work. i can unlock the phone and even receive calls but the screen in blank. At first this issue was there only when i used the slide keyboard....it would turn blank but it would work normally after sliding the keyboard back. Now, the screen doesnt display anything at all. I cant understand ....please help....is this problem fixable? is here any way that i can solve this issue??
