Software update when device is encrypted - Sony

Hello,

I own an Xperia Z1. Due to work security policies, my device needs to be enctrypted to allow me access to corporate email whilst on the move.

How does this setup effect software updates (both OS and Xperia OTT apps)?

If your device is encrypted, it does not affect software updates or similar.
