sim card memory full/flashing icon

i've recently had a sony vivaz, & now i've got a flashing msg icon & it's telling me that my sim card memory is full, when it isn't!!! any suggestions!?!

I have the same problem on my new Vivaz pro with a flashing envelope and message 'Sim memory full'. I would also appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.

i have the same problem too. ever since i've upgraded my sim card, it runs smooth.

Hi Everyone.

Hope you are all okay.

Just so you know, this icon indicates that the SIM memory for SMS messages is full. You can remove this icon and free the space by following the below instructions.

1. In the Main Menu, Select Messaging.

2. Press Options.

3. Select SIM Messages.

4. Highlight a message.

5. Press Options then Delete.

If you do this for a few of the messages (or all of them if you like), the icon will be removed from the display.

Thank you Aimee for the advice. I have checked and I have no messages in the SIM memory to delete. However since making my first post I have taken out and re-fited the SIM card and it no longer gives the flashing message. Now all I have to do is work out why I can't connect via web'n'walk.

Just a quick msg 2 thank you for your answer... i've finally got rid of  the flashing msg box!!!!
