SE WT19i(Live with Walkman) - how to change tone for sms??

I'm having a hard time finding a way to change a tone for my sms. I 'd like to set a new one, more funny and more loud instead of this "Bip"...i sometimes miss very important message when i expect it because i  never can't hear when message has come..or sometimes when the enviroment is quiet i can hear it....any solutions??

Try a ringtone manager like RingDroid, Zedge Ringtones, etc to import custom tones

You could also try the following,

Menu > Settings > Sounds > Notification Ring Tone > From here you can change the message tone you can also select the Music Library option and choose your own music.

just to double check the volume settings you can use an app like Quick settings

for some reason I haven't being able to find a menu or sub menu to access system volume w/o an app

I have the sam query for sms tone.. and when i tried to change from settings..it didnt work out .... :-(((

there's another app that allows you to customize your ringtones even further, Handcent SMS

i have got one more question... i want to download PC connect suit ...but as far as i am getting information, PC suit is supported only on windows platform.

and does it work with linux os? bcoz i dnt use windows...

if not any other option is available?

it's only for windows, you can run windows programs on linux, it's a bit of a pain but it's not that complicated

Go to messages.. settings.. there you can find the Notification tone option.. easy..
