Problem with Facebook update

Hello Community!

I have problem with the update of my FB account while on mobile data. Actually it doesn't update. The app runs smoothly and updates normally while on Wifi. All other apps requiring mobile data work properly. My device (E4g Dual sim) runs Android verson 4.4.4.and Fb version 49.0.0.12.152.

I've unistalled and re -install the Fb app, but the porblem persists.

Any idea, what's happening ?

Do you use any apps that monitors/controls your data usage? 

Did you restrict any background data usage in settings?

I had AVG installed and removed it.

How do  check the background data at settings?

Facebook Lite version, as well as other apps run smoothly with modile data. Its only Fb app that doesn't update, although it shows that circle turning that means it tries to update but evetnually fails. Also strange that it runs fine via Wifi.

Go to settings -> data usage -> the 3 vertical dots in upper right -> uncheck "Restrict app background data" if it's checked.

problem solved when installed Fb new version.
