Notifications

Hi

For a very long time ive used a samsung tablet (tab4) and its default s planner. A few days ago I thought it would be good to have my events on the Z3 so I did a search and found I should install the Google Calanda on the Sony. I did this and all of my events came accross to the phone... Great

However no matter what I do I cant get the phone to show the event notifications. Notifications for other apps work fine, like Viber it notifies accross the PC, Tablet and Phone.

Ive gone into notification settings, even prioritised them, but no notifications.

As a test I made a new event on the phone, again the tablet popped up and notified me but not the phone.

Have I missed anything ? Ive gone through the phones settings over and over cannot find anything blocking or switched off, Z3 has updated to marshmallow, until a few days ago I just used the clock alarms and they notified ok.

So whats going on?

P.S phone, tablet and pc uses same gmail account, so everything is sync 100%

just a quick update, i didnt know the default calendar would also work, so i disabled the google calendar and used the default calendar, again it updated account sync, and the tablet notified an event, but not the phone.
