Notification change

Right, just get camera sorted now this lol. Ive been trying to change my notification alert but everytime I get a text come in, the default sony one starts. Ive changed the tone in settings several times but still the same default tone, is there something Im missing?

Are you changing it from Settings>Sound>Notifications or from within the Messaging App, Menu Button>Settings>Notification tone?

Settings>Sound>Notifications, will try the other way but also just downloaded handcent and the notification has been changed through that

Ah, Handcent was my Plan B personally I prefer it to the stock messaging app anyway.  Just remember if you are going to use Handcent then turn off your notifications in the stock app.

once the normal messaging service worked with different tone, i uninstalled handcent and went back to default sms

The main thing is you now have the message tone that you really wanted, even if it was a bit of a roundabout way of getting it.
