Non responsive keys on xperia x10 wtf?!

hey guys i like just bought my x10 like not even 48 hours ago and i'm starting to have trouble with it...

the thing is that when i stay on one app for a bit or i leave my phone about doing nothig on it, it seems my outside function keys (ie. settings, menu, back button) won't work! i've read about how the x10 has unresponsive keys to it bu i never thought that i'd have to turn my phone on an off 10 times just to look at my face book! it's really killing me here and since it's soo new i have no i dea what to do.

I figured that it mught be  my problem since i downloaded a few apps but even when i've uninstalled them this problem keeps happening i'm desperate to find an answer cuz i really dig this phone so PLEASE HELP!!!

I just had a similar problem with the 3 buttons on the Xperia X10.  I had a gel protector over the phone.  For some reason, with that protector on, it made the buttons unresponsive.  When I took the case off, it seems to work fine.  If you're using a protective case, try taking it off to see if it makes a difference.

if you still get the problem without the case, quickly bring it to the store you buy it from to get a one-to-one exchange.
