No Sound on XA (intermittent)

Hi Guys,

i bought a Xperia XA from Amazon Marketplace, Condition New (I doubt that a bit, phone looks new though) Model is F3111.

After powering up and installing the latest updates, i noticed that the sound (every sound) was missing. After restarting, everything was fine, sound was there and very good. But after a couple of hours, it was gone again (every sound), so i restarted again, and the sound came back to life. Whats wrong?

And i noticed something odd at the diagnostics. At the "application not responding" it says "System-UI"

Coincidence?

It's been in Safe Mode for a few days now, and the problem seems to have been fixed. So, what next?

It means that one of your apps is causing this error. As you know, i had the same error, even with a factory resetted phone with only one "not-sony" app running, Whatsapp. And even then, the error was present, which meant that a preinstalled sony app was causing this error. This is unacceptable, of course. I belief that the region the phone was "built" for, has something to do with it, because a phone bought from a local store has none of this errors.

If you purchased the phone online, return it, if possible, and get a phone from a local store or one thats been "designed" for your region.

Otherwise, to answer your question, you have to uninstall your apps one by one, restarting the phone each time in normal mode to see if the error is still there.

OK, cheers. My phone was purchased at my local store. I will try uninstalling them one by one.
