i`ve updated to the latest FW , (i`m uk voda branded) But the NFC doesn`t update and wont switch on.  is there a fix for this

What happens when you check the box for NFC under Settings > More.. > NFC? Nothing?

If that's the case, you should reset the phone and try again. If it still doesn't work, get back to me with your exact firmware number (Settings > About phone > Software version) and I'll look some more into it.

the NFC box wont tick, if i reboot the phone it trys to update but i get a 000006 error, if i do a hard shut down (power button plus down then 3 vibs ) it will work when it boots up but it wont switch on if i turn it off.   this ony happy when i updated the firmware from PCC last week. The phone is from vodafone on firmware  10.11.1.253   MODEL  C6603. hope that helps you to help me

Alright. Did you try the reset as well? (Settings > Backup and restore > Reset)
