New to Sony Ericsson X10, Quick Question

Hello, I have just got my X10 and was wondering how I can change my ringtones and message alert to mp3 music. I have tried changing them but it comes up with the standard ringtones and I haven't got a choice to pick an Mp3 song as the new ringtone or message alert. Any Help would be appreciated.

download ZEDGE from the market. then search for a ringtone you would like to set.

or you could just play the song using Mediascape and using the left hardware button (four squares) use the 'set as ringtone option'

this works........

connect your phone to the PC and mount the SD card.

navigate to the folder media/audio/notifications on your phone

drop the file you want to use in there

when you select the notification tone it will be in the list with the original ones
