Hi there,
My Xperia Z1 (after 2 years using) stopped reading a SD card. After that my phone started restarting (switching on and off randomly). When I connect it to my laptop after several fruitless attempts (little time between swithcing on and off), I discovered that my laptop recognises both - SD card and the internal memory (so the problem exactly is not with the SD card).
Could you please help me? What can I do to solve the problem (to get access to the SD card and stop restarting)?
Thank you in advance!
Eka
Unfortunately I don't have another SD card.
And I can't boot my phone into safe mode now. I tried both - holding Power and Volume - buttons together and Pressing and pressing+holding the Power button - nothing works. It is just swithcing on in a normal mode.
UPD. In the safe mode it remains the same.
Hi @Eka88,
Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about this issue you're facing.
The methods you have tried to get in to safe mode are not quite correct. To get into safe mode, shut down your phone completely, then turn it back on. While it is booting up, hold only the volume down key.
If you are still experiencing the same restarting issue while in safe mode, please try using the phone without the SD card inserted and see if there is any change.
