my w595 cannot boot

hi,

  i recently received sonyericsson w595 as a gift from a friend in south Africa. in fact i enjoyed all the features on the phone until recently when my phone goes on and off. when i put it on the start up screen appears and goes off again and this last for a long period without coming on again. i want to know what is wrong with my phone and what can i do to fix the problem
