If its completely dead u wont even see the red light blinking. It has happened with me once.
Try connecting the phone to an AC adaptor. Wait for sometime. After some red blinks, the phone will automatically turn on

you most likely have a faulty batt as it use to do the same thing on ( funny that ) K750i even if you plug it into the AC adaptor like a dude below suggested (like you wouldn't have figured it out by your self ) plug it in, if the red light comes on take out the batt for five seconds without removing the charger and put it back into the phone and wait for few hours for it to restart.
good luck

Try to be more sensible dude... Nobody wud like to pull out and push in a battery wen connected to an AC charger. If u say i was not here to know this technology, im least concerned bout the old one. Come out of the old house dude... It seems like u r still riding on ur tricycle... switch over to a motorbike... u will feel the difference.... lol

If the phone is on u can try a hardware reset.
This is how you come to know that ur phone is on. (Just see if the greeen light is blinking or unlock the phone and press the volume button if there is some sound then the phone is on)
This is how u do a hardware reset. (Keep the off button and simultaneously press the middle key)
