Music Player X10 mini

Does the music player that comes bundled with the X10 mini have a playlist creator / editor ?  I can only seem to find 3 predefined 'smart playlists' -

1) Newly added

2) Most played

3) Never Played (eh??)

Can I make up my own or do I need to get another player?  If yes, any recommendations (preferably free!).

As far as I know, only the listed play list are available with the default player.
