Movie Record Settings Reset continuously to default

In the phone camera, the video recording settings I change do not stay when I switch apps. I changed the photo and focus settings and whenever I switch apps or exit the settings remain. But this does not happen in the video recording app. I change settings to single focus and steady shot off but whenever I leave the video app and return it goes back to default face focus and steady shot on.

As you can see, the video camera app defaults to Face Detection with Steady Shot ON.  If I change settings and swipe left to photo camera and swipe right back to video camera, it returns to default settings.

I take a lot of still shot/scenery/object and non-human videos, so the face detection setting is not ideal at all for me.  The photo camera maintains my setting sbut the video camerea does not.

This issue occurs whether I launch using the camera app or the phone's side-quick launch button.

I think that they forgive to set something there or it's prefefinied to have that behaviour
