miss call or message notification

I have tried to look through all the document for setting up a notification of missing call or message, but failed, can anyone help? many thanks

A notification icon appears in the status bar at the top of the screen if you have missed a call , email or text message, etc.  Look at the user guide in your phone, in the Getting to Know Your Phone - Status Bar section.  The LED at the top right of the screen will also flash green if you have missed something.

Do you have an X10 large or mini?

In the large the led blinks if you have missed a call or if you have a notification of a message so this is obvious even when the screen is off.  Once the screen is on there will be a little icon in your notification bar at the top of the phone which when you drag down will tell you whether it was a call or message etc.

I also use an app called Blink - Flash LED in Your Way, free from the market so you can change your led colour for different things so I have seperate colours for missed call, sms, email, twitter etc.

Not so sure on the mini tho. Hopefully if you confirm which phone you have someone else can help if it is a mini.
