Message Settings

I have upgraded to the new android software 2.1. I have just noticed that I am being charged for delivery reports, I have gone to go to message settings on the phone to cancel them and since upgrading the software, this particular part on the settings seems to have disaappeared. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do or if there is something else that I should be doing? Many thanks for any help received...!

My X8 is set up pretty much the same as the mini's and on my Messaging app if you press Menu and Settings the option to untick delivery reports is there.  I think before the Messaging settings were via Menu>Settings>Sony Ericsson>Messaging, so maybe this is why you haven't found them?

Thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated. I have tried exactly as you have said and for some reason there seems to be no option for unticking delivery reports, I had it before upgrading the android as I had to switch them off then, but since upgrading it and other features seem to have disaapeared? So at the moment I am at a loss as what to do? Once again many thanks

I think I have sorted it. I was looking on this forum and I found how someone had done it! This forum is great for helping each other, keep up the good work...!!

Glad you are sorted, it would be really helpful if you could describe what you did so that anyone else stumbling across this thread with a similar question would know how to solve it... maybe even post a link to the other thread you mentioned.  (You just copy the address line from that thread and use the blue A button above and Ctrl V to paste it in and then press insert).

Hi I thought I had done it by when you go into your messages before you oen one up press th menu key and then go into settings and then I unchecked delivery report. I have checked my bill today and I am still being charged, this never happend before up dating to 2.1. I am now at a total loss??????
