message problem

I am using xperia x8.I am not able to receive any message but am able to send it.The notification notifies LOW ON SPACE-phone storage is getting low.Is there any problem with my phone memory.sd card-0.97 GB available space and internal phone memory-11.25 MB available space.

I hv restarted my phone.no solution yet.it looks like thr might be any problem wid sms settings.I am not getting sms setting in my phone(android)

You need at least 20MB free phone memory space in order for the messaging application to be able to send messages.
