Maps Query

When I open maps on the X10 it just brings up map with current location. Why cant I open street view, search locations & get directions etc?

Have you tried pressing the 4squares/menu button? It is the leftmost physical button at the bottom of the screen.

you may need to download the updated streetview from the marketplace

then...........................

to access street view - long press on the map and select the little 'peg man' icon - to just 'browse' strret view turn off compass mode - bottom menu in street view. If you leave compass mode selected then then street view will follow the phone's direction

directions are on the menu accessed from the left hand hardware button

layers are switched on in the top menu

no worries - it's not that obvious until you find out how it works then it just seems so logical
