I have just got an xperia p. I was wondering if I was able to put shortcuts on my pull down menu, ie, a shortcut to turning wifi/3g on and off. At the moment I'm finding it very long winded having to pull down then go into settings etc, etc! I was able to do it on my Samsung Galaxy so am hoping it's common in all phones.
My second thing is I am running on Android 4.0.4. When I try and update either through wifi or the Sony Pc Companion it tells me I have the latest software installed. Is this correct as I am reading all over the web about 4.2. My phone is unlocked and on Giffgaff (O2 network) if this helps.
Any advice welcome and thankyou in advance.
that is not common on all phones, you have preset shortcuts, but there are myriad apps that will allow you to add more shortcuts.
regarding android 4.2 there isn't any info on this, if the Xperia P will get it or not, the latest update is 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, its rolling out, you have to contact O2 as it was locked to that carrier and you are not going to get the update unless they approve and release it
