Loosing Trust in Sony (making it beleiving)

Sir/Madam,

I bought Sony Neo V model leaving aside HTC and Samsung keeping in view a very good experience with Sony Appliances and its service which I had been using since long time. I thought that in this competitive world Sony would be better than any other mobile company as in the case of any other Appliance. But for the first time I feel that I was proved wrong by the service of Sony mobile.

I had purchased this mobile handset in June 2012. But very soon, I started experiencing problems from the handset and complained many times about the problems to the customer care. I had taken my handset to the Sony service centre at Dwarka several times but every time I got the handset back without rectification of the problems. My complaints can be tracked from my mobile no. 9911149509 and email id anudeepsbedi@yahoo.com.

At one point of time even the display of my handset was changed whereas I had never raised any issue of the touch of the screen . The main issues faced by me were :

Heating

Slow Performance

Hanging

Very Low Battery Backup

Halting in between a call/application etc.

Last time I went to the service centre, once again my software was repaired and my battery was kept. After a week my touch started giving problems and when I went to get my battery and informed about the touch problem, I was told that the set is now out of warranty and the touch can be changed on a cost. I was given a battery bearing S.no.  213830PTPCLH 1/CP6/48/46. I don’t know whether it is a new battery of an old one.

I tried to live with the persisting problems but now it is really irritating and I am not able to use my handset properly even after spending an amount of Rs. 18,000/-.

I therefore request you to kindly look into the matter urgently and seriously so that I should not loose trust in Sony which is worlds leading brand.

Thanx n Regards

What to do? Sell the defective phone at scrap prices or hope for some solution?

Sorry to hear that you're still having problems with your phone even though it's been to service.

I would recommend that you first try making a master reset of your phone and then try it for a while without installing any apps as all the problems you're seeing might be caused by apps using alot of RAM/CPU.

If that's not the problem i recommend that you contact your local Sony Xperia support for assistance:
