Live Wallpapers - How to?

Hi,

When i first got my update, i found out that i can use live wallpapers on my xperia x10 mini pro, and was very excited to get my hands on them. BUT, when i tried to use a live wallpaper, it said, there are no live wallpapers. So, i went online and confusingly 'installed' a few live wallpapers and voila...!! it works..

This is how you install live wallpapers (apparantly, its an app):

1. You must be running android 2.1.

2. You must go to the android market and search for live wallopapers.

3. I got a bunch of paid ones, (which are surprisingly good).

4. Try out the ones that come for free such as:

                            - Living Music (really cool, takes ur album art and makes a live wallpaper)

                            - Nexus Revamped

                            - PongClock Live Wallpaper, etc..

5. It installs as an application, and first time running was quite slow (dont bother it gets better)..

NOW WHAT I LIKE FROM THE USERS OF THIS FORUM IS TO ADD AS MANY FREE LIVE WALLPAPER APP NAMES(as shown in the android market) AS POSSIBLE TO KEEP A NICE N TIDY LIST OF ALL THAT IS AVAILABLE OUT THERE..

(Googling for all of these takes a lot of time for me so i'll leave it upto you guys to fill in)

Lastly, Thanks..

A good venture, congrats. Free live wallpapers are rare and most of them are demo versions.

Finally had the 2.1 update on my Mini Pro! The performance is much better than before and the flow is smooth. I am liking my phone a lot better!

I also tried Ascension Live Wallpaper. It was quite cool! But I am not able to find the Water Live wallpaper in the Market which has that ripple when you touch the screen:

Hey Sid,

You can try this website: http://www.livewallpapers.org/ its got a lot of free and paid live wallpapers for android. It installs as a background app and to install:

          Option 1:

                     - Long press on your home screen (Android 2.1) and choose Live wallpapers.

          Option 2:

                     - Press the Left-most (Four Squares) hardware key (on your xperia x10 mini pro) and choose Change wallpaper.

In order to see any live wallpapers, you need to install them on your phone. Try the above mentioned website or search for Live wallpapers on the Android market. I'm sure you'l find many free and paid ones.
