Live map zoom

I have set my wallpaper to use live map. but cannot zoom back in, each time I try to use two finger touch the overview screen appears can you  help?

Just switched mine to reproduce your issue, have found that single finger double tap zooms in rather than pinch which as you say gives you overview mode. Hope it helps.
