JB-Camera Bug

Hi everyone. I updated my Xperia T with Jelly Bean, the updated versione of Android has better performances than ICS, but there are some bugs. First of all the camera has a lower resolutions, in 16.9 the max res is 9 mpx (with ICS was 10). But when i controlled the resoultion with the pc i found out it was of 6.5 mpx. In 4.3 the max resolution is 12 mpx. I hope Sony is going to release an update to solve these bugs. I also would like to have the black theme of ICS in apps like messages or contacts, but i think it's not possible. I hat that white!

You have a lower resolution because of "superior auto".

That is the yellow icon. Max. 12.

For original settings you can return to normal mode. Max 13.

With superior auto you will have some limitations.

Hey Luis,

Thanks a lot for the information that you posted.

As frjemd said, in superior mode, the resolution is a little lower. Not a big deal, even with lower resolution and all the great features that they added to the camera, the pictures still looks full of noise when you will shoot.

If you want to get the 13/10Mpx, shoot in normal mode.

What it is interesting, is what you said about shooting at 10Mpx and getting 6,5Mpx at the end.

Can you explain me a little more about this?... is it because the size?... one of the main issues of Xperia cameras is the huge compression that they add to the pictures. Probably the main reason for what we get pictures full of noise/low quality.

Thanks a lot!

Did you get this using superior auto or manual mode?
