Why does all *.sis(x) application i try to install result in "certificate expired" message?

sis or sisx is symbian app, not java, java app is jar/jad format.

u have to sign the app or hack the phone to install sis(x) files..

i tried to sign the application with "extsis" but didn't erase previous signature, also previous signature was valid until 2020... didn't work. Anyway thanks.

u got to erase the previous signature before you sign your own, regardless when it expired, and 3 years time is more than enough for you, you might probably get a latest version app/new phone after 3 years. even if you don't, you can get a new cert again at anytime, so don't worry about the expire date.
