Insert Sim Card

when I insert sim card in Xperia x10 mini it do not detect sim card but same sim works in other mobile phones, I have tried sim card of Idea and Airtel, both of them working in other phones but not in X10 mini.

even if it work on other Xperias get a brand NEW SIM card.

Although the SIM card may work in other devices, it does not mean it will work within the X10 Mini, I suggest you go to a network store and ask to test one of there SIM's this will help you determine where the issue is located.

Hi Jake,

I went to network store(idea, Airetel and BSNL), but the story was same.

Still dissapointed wtih this handset.

If this did not work, you could try performing  software repair on the device with PC Companion.

To repair the phone software

1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support

2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.

3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.

4.     Click repair phone.

5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.
