Incoming call delay

Incoming call delay

Want to make sure, is there anyone face the same problem.

After I upgrade to ICS, the incoming call has some delay time.

When there is an incoming call, the phone start vibrating very quickly, and the illumination bar will light up. (Still no screen, no sound)

It will take a little time to show the lock screen (just like press the power button).

It may already take 10 seconds, but I still can’t catch the call…

When the incoming call screen appear, and slide to answer the call, more than 20 seconds past.

The worst thing is, when I had already answer the call, there is still about 5seconds delay to talk. In these 5 seconds, I can’t hear, and can’t talk…

What's the problem with my xperia U?

Is there any way to fix this problem?

I was facing the same problem after updating to ICS. But after repair with PCC & Factory Reset everything works fine. You may try this.

I had repair with SUS twice.

First time resotre everything with PCC, second time just re-configurate manually agian.

Both these two times, have the same problem.

I know that there can be a delay of a second or two but not like this. I suggest that you contact your local support team to have your phone examined and fixed.

I had try to contact the support online chat, they only suggest me to reset the phone...

The hardware should has no problem.

The delay problem may not happen after reboot.

It always happen after the phone boot a long time (about a half day...).

Like sbhhandepatil above, this happens to me when I am low on memory - as long as I have 70mb/80Mb+ RAM free when someone calls, then i am ok, but if I use too many widgets and my free memory gets tight, then if someone calls it takes three or four rings from the caller before my Xperia rings. I assume the dialer takes up a bit of memory and the OS has to close other things down before you can answer the call.
